Innovation event on “Tools for innovating in consortium”

The SmartHELMET partners organised the Innovation event on “Tools for innovating in consortium” held in Engineering Faculty of Porto University (UoP), Porto, Portugal, on September 28, 2015.

During the innovation event, Mr. Vasilis Sideris discussed several aspects related with the development of biomechanics products, showing how biomechanics research can contribute to the development of products with improved performance. Further, Dr. Andreas Flouris discussed key factors for the preparation of high-quality research proposals for Marie Curie Actions, from how evaluations are carried to the central elements that make a proposal stand out from the crowd. The third speaker of this event was Mrs. Anabela Carvalho, from Patents.pt, which lead the discussion about the role of the intellectual properties rights in the development of innovation.
